House registers of House bills are a record of the House bills appearing before the House within a particular session, and contain the House bill number, bill title, bill description, name of the House member(s) who presented the bill, and what action was taken concerning the bill. If the bill was passed, the words "signed" or "enrolled and signed" appear below the bill description. Beginning ca.1950 an index was placed within each volume of House register of House bills, listing in alphabetical order the names of the members of the House and the bill numbers of the bills that were presented before the House in that session. The action taken on each bill is posted almost daily by register clerks, and this information is recorded below the bill description.
